About Kert Peterson

Since apprenticing with Ken Schwaber and being designated a Certified Scrum Trainer in 2004, Kert has guided Lean-Agile transformations for a wide range of public and private organizations, including Rockwell Collins, Duke Energy, Capital One, and Fidelity Investments. 

Kert began his career as a Software Engineer in NASA’s Space Shuttle program. These roots as a maker afford him practical insights into the daily challenges faced by testers, engineers, and other creatives.

An Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT) since 2018, Kert has guided hundreds of individuals and dozens of teams to breakthrough performance gains with their products and for their customers.

 At the Bank of America, Kert launched and led the bank's 120-person customer profitability organization in a 6-month transition to a lean-agile delivery system. 

Kert holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at San Antonio and lives in Calgary, AB with his family. He spends his spare time training Tai Chi and playing Mandolin.
