S5 | 376: Improving Customer Education for Better CX with Jack Foster, Workramp

About the Episode

Today we’re going to talk about customer education to improve the customer experience, and we’ll be talking about how to improve the employee experience through education as well.

To help me discuss this topic, I’d like to welcome Jack Foster, CMO at WorkRamp.

About Jack Foster

Even in 2022, when your dog can be an influencer, marketing still matters. In highly competitive, rapidly evolving markets, success or failure can hinge on an organization’s capacity to communicate what they do to the people most likely to benefit from it. And while a variety of strategies can work, for Jack Foster, Vice President of Marketing at all-in-one learning and development platform WorkRamp, the place to start is simple: building community.

Jack launched her marketing career fresh off earning a BA in business economics at UC-Santa Barbara. In 2008, she took the leap into tech with a six-year tenure at CA technologies. There, she earned a position as Director of Marketing — and an MA in business administration along the way.

An eager learner and adaptable teammate, Jack continued to refine her skills and add new tricks to her repertoire in a succession of leadership roles: Director of Demand Generation and Marketing Ops at Lever. Senior Director of Demand Generation and Marketing Ops at SurveyMonkey. VP of Global Demand Generation and Marketing Ops at Momentive (formerly SurveyMonkey — having guided the team through a major rebrand).

Now, a year and change into her tenure at WorkRamp, Jack is leveraging every available channel to help her team build an activated community of partners and customers and lay a foundation for enterprise demand generation that will amplify WorkRamp’s impact on the LMS market.
