About the Episode

Today we’re going to talk about Dispelling Myths About Funding Creative and UX: What You Think You're Getting vs What You Really Need, in a special episode brought to you by The Office of Experience, a design-driven, digital-first, vertically integrated and collaborative agency that believes in the power of ideas and the strength of people. This will also be the first of a quarterly outlook on B2B e-commerce and what brands should be looking out for there.

To help me discuss this topic, I’d like to welcome Dan Knuckey, Executive Creative Director, and Jason Bowman, Executive Director of UX at The Office of Experience.

About Dan Knuckey & Jason Bowman

Dan Knuckey - Executive Creative Director

Dan is responsible for guiding the creative team to ensure the work is on strategy and on brand.

For more than two decades, Dan has played a leadership role in creating meaningful experiences across channels for a range of world-class brands.

His work has been recognized by HOW, Graphic and Print and is included in the AIGA Design Archives.

Dan’s client experience includes leading B2B and B2C brands like IBM, CME Group, Northern Trust, BP, Harley-Davidson, Goose Island Beer Co, Converse, Procter & Gamble, Allen Edmonds, and many others.

Jason Bowman - Executive Director, UX

Jason is a seasoned Product and UX practitioner who uses design thinking and agile methodologies to save teams from themselves.

Jason has a true talent for guiding projects to successful launches as quickly and efficiently as possible. His expansive experience includes multinational, multilingual intranets, startups, marquee consumer brands, global agencies, mobile apps, and more.

He is always looking for the right thing in order to create a better experience: for users, clients, or teams. Usually, all three. Otherwise, rule of threes be damned -- Jason prefers his measurements in equally-divisible multiples of four.

Notable clients include Patagonia, Groupon, Samsung, Boston Consulting Group, Sitka Gear, Goop, American Medical Association, AbbVie, R.J. Reynolds, and more.
